but usually it's different, a special mix of elements like we have seen in commandos, and more elements from real time strategy games, especially the good old blitzkrieg comes in my mind. there are some really sneaky missions in each game that - combined with the features offered, like direct control, inventory system, interactive usage of literally everything from the environment - made the gameplay very similar to commandos. this serie started back in 2004, and in many aspect got very close to our beloved games.
